After initially voting 4-2 in favor of keeping meeting dates as scheduled for the month of November, fiscal court decided at a regular scheduled meeting on Friday to meet only once during the month (Nov. 19) to avoid conflict with employee schedules during the Veterans Day and Thanksgiving holidays.

A Willisburg man died on Oct. 23 after an automobile accident that occurred around 5:15 p.m.
Johnnie D. Mitchell, 49, of 2412 Polin Road in Willisburg, was driving west on Polin Road in a 2004 Buick Ranier when he ran off the road on the right side, according to a report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

Thirty-two Boosters were in attendance this week for their weekly meeting and luncheon.
