According to a press release from Washington County Judge-Executive John A. Settles, there will be restricted parking at St. Dominic Church on Friday at the funeral for former Springfield mayor Mike Haydon.

Overflow parking will be available at the Washington County Judicial Center and Springfield Baptist Church parking lots.

The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Church.

The man who Gov. Steve Beshear said understood state government “at a near-molecular level” died unexpectedly on Sunday.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (August 12, 2012) – “Jane and I are shocked and devastated by the sudden death of my chief of staff and good friend, Mike Haydon.

Attorney General Jack Conway and his Keep Kentucky Kids Safe partners recently announced the launch of a new initiative to warn Kentuckians about the dangers of prescription drug abuse and to remind the public of the importance of monitoring, securing and safely disposing of unneeded prescription pills.
