A Washington County native competed in the Miss Kentucky pageant over the weekend.
Katherine Fields, who won the Miss UK  Thoroughbred pageant to gain entry, was among the contestants at the Miss Kentucky pageant.

Jessica Casebolt, Miss Goldenrod, won the honor of Miss Kentucky.
Fields is a 2010 graduate of Washington County High School and is enrolled at the University of Kentucky.
She is the daughter of Jimmy and Kathy Fields of Springfield.

Lebanon will play host to the world’s largest remote control jet show - Jets Over Kentucky - July 8-14 at the Lebanon/Springfield Airport in Lebanon. Event organizers are expecting as many as 200 pilots from across the globe, including Europe, Iceland, Asia, Mexico, Canada, Germany and an entire team from Spain.
