The Bardstown Tigers are among a handful of contenders that looked poised to win the Fifth Region crown and punch their ticket to the state tournament.
First, however, they must go through Washington County.
The first two times around, the Tigers outscored the Commanders by an average of 98-54.
“We’re going to have to control the tempo,” Commanders head coach Russell Burkhead said. “They want to make it 94 feet, up and down the floor.”
