This week marks National Newspaper Week.
If you told me six years ago that I would be living in my hometown and working for a weekly newspaper, I probably would have gotten mad at you.
Well, it’s almost over for the elections.
Occasionally, we think it’s nice to look around and notice the good things going on in the community. Here are some things that deserve a pat on the back.

I’m not from here. I haven’t read this newspaper my whole life and I’m only connected to a tiny number of people that live here.
Mr. Fattizzi’s rant has finally caused me to respond to this misguided concept that people have.
