It’s almost over! The election is less than a week away and after that the states will finally go back to a regular color, at least something other than red, blue and neutral.
Spring slips in with trickles of violet and pink around the edges of winter, a flute’s trill in the morning, teasing and fickle.
No matter what creed or nationality, we are all joined together in the very great loss of Father Chris… the “Gentle Giant of Fredericktown.”

I always get my haircut down at The Springfield Barber Shop on Main Street by Marsha. Marsha is always a good talker and most guys come in for the conversation as much as for the hair cut.
Fall in Kentucky is a wonderful time. Colorful leaves fall with the temperatures, community festivals are hosted across the state and farmers bring in their final harvests.
On Thursday night, I attended a very important presentation at North Washington Elementary School.
It’s my birthday!!!
“I went back upstairs one more time and said ‘goodbye’ to my room. I’m ready to go now.”
