  • St. Catharine pounds Pioneers, 76-49

Officially it is listed as an exhibition game on the St. Catharine schedule. But the outcome of Saturday’s game at Tusculum College (Tennessee) was huge for J.T. Burton’s team. As the Patriots prepare for the beginning of the Mid-South Conference schedule this week (see related story), they received a real boost with a 76-49 win over the Pioneers who are a NCAA Division II team.

  • Holy Darkness

“In your deepest hour of darkness
I will give you wealth untold.
When the silence stills your spirit,
will my riches fill your soul.”

Whenever I feel down, when I feel that I’m not just beat, but beaten, there is a touch from God which lets me know he’s still there.  It comes from the sound of children’s voices singing praise to our loving Almighty Lord in timeless messages through timeless songs.
