As the summer months begin to warm up, so does the Washington County High School gym.
That’s because the Washington County Commanderettes volleyball team has begun its training for the fall season under the leadership of first-year head coach Casey Mudd.
“I am excited,” Mudd said. “I’ve got just a really really good group of girls.”
Mudd, who was an assistant coach for the last three years, said the team has lost a lot of experience but will still be leaving its mark in the district this year.
