The Washington County Commander football team (2-4, 2-2) had a dominating performance last Friday night against the Shawnee Golden Eagles (4-4, 1-4). The Commanders rushed for 387 yards on 54 tries and containing a potentially explosive Shawnee passing attack on defense for a 43-18 win over a district opponent.

According to WC head coach Eric Sagrecy, the tempo on offense was established early on by the offensive line, which was awarded player of the game honors after the big win.
