Accuracy improves for WC archers

The Washington County High School archery team traveled to Boyle County last weekend to compete in the Boyle County Rebel Classic. The tournament was hosted on Feb. 29.

“I think they’ve done real well,” archery head coach Jeff Grigsby said after the team took aim.

“I think most of them probably got the best scores they’ve shot all year.”

In fact, junior archer Hannah Simpson took the lead for the team by placing seventh overall in the high school division and fourth overall in the 11th grade girls division.
