4 indicted on felony charges

An indictment indicates that a grand jury found sufficient evidence for a case to go to trial and does not indicate guilt. All of those indicted are innocent until proven guilty.

- Jason D. Morris, 34, of 2512 South Comer Road in Scottsburg, Ind., was indicted for one count of receiving stolen property under $10,000 (Class D felony) and one count of being a second-degree persistent felony offender.

According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 13, 2013 in Washington County, Morris received, retained or disposed of movable property of another (1997 Chevy pickup) knowing it had been stolen or having reason to believe it had been stolen.

His bond was set at $15,000.

- Austin C. Norton, 30, of 704 Tuggle Road in Danville, was indicted for one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (Class D felony), one count of menacing (Class B misdemeanor) and one count of possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor).

The incident that resulted in charges occurred on or about Dec. 21, 2013 in Washington County. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000.

- Javier Mendosa Molina, AKA Javier Medoza, 39, of 42 St. Catharine Street in Lebanon, was indicted for one count of second-offense DUI - Aggravator (Class B misdemeanor), four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment (Class D felony), one count of failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (Class B misdemeanor) and one count of no operators license (Class B misdemeanor).

The incident that resulted in charges occurred on or about Jan. 1 in Washington County. Bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.

- Jordan T. Young, 21, of Springfield, was indicted for one count of first-degree, first-offense possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) (Class D felony), one count of first-degree, first-offense indecent exposure (Class D felony) and one count of first-offense alcohol intoxication in a public place (violation).

The incident that resulted in charges occurred on or about Dec. 18, 2013 in Washington County. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000.
