Club champions raise money for charity

The First Annual Rosewood Charity Skins Game was held on August 23 at Rosewood Golf & Country Club in Lebanon, Ky. Four golf clubs and their club champions participated in the event.

Curt Manning represented the Rosewood Golf Club, Phillip Brady represented the Lebanon Country Club, Campbellsville Country Club was represented by Ricky Newton and Lincoln Homestead Golf Club by Mikey Yates.

Each club chose a local charity to represent in the charity skins game and earned $500 for their charity just for participating, plus and additional $250 for each hole their club won while playing the skins game. In total, $6,500 was donated to four local charities.

Phillip Brady earned $2,500 for The Caring Place, Mikie Yates earned $1,750 for the National Kidney Foundation of Kentucky, Ricky Newton earned $1,750 for the Taylor County Relay for Life and Curt Manning earned $500 for the Marion County Youth Services Center.
