-A A +A
By Nick Schrager

Ariella Gibson has been hired as the county’s new animal control officer.

According to Washington County Judge-Executive John Settles, the county had three good candidates apply for the position.

Magistrate Johnny Cole, who gave a report on the application process, said Gibson was unanimously picked by the hiring committee for the job.

“We based that on recommendation on her work experience, her willingness and knowledge to use computers, Facebook and technology,” Coyle said. “To communicate with the community and with the courts.”
