WC golf girls send two to All-A state; boys beat TNHS

Both the boys’ and girls’ Washington County varsity golf teams were in action this past week against Thomas Nelson High School, the schools’ second meeting of the season.
The Commanders beat Thomas Nelson back on Aug. 6 180-229.

Last Tuesday, Washington County once again topped the Generals, 188-208, led by J.P. Cecconi’s 41 and Thomas Pettus’ 46. Luke Mattingly pitched in with a 47, followed by Evan Mattingly, 51, Patrick Downs, 52, Seth Robinson and Michael Wheatley, 54, and Daniel Downs, 59.
